- Act as a nodal agency of the Institution for coordinating quality-related activities, including adoption and dissemination of best practices
- Development and maintenance of institutional database through MIS for the purpose of maintaining/enhancing the institutional quality
- Development and application of quality benchmarks/parameters for various academic and administrative activities of the institution
- Organization of inter and intra institutional workshops, seminars on quality related themes and promotion of quality circles
- Dissemination of the information on different quality parameters of higher education to different stakeholders
- Preparation of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) as per guidelines and parameters of NAAC, to be submitted to NAAC
- Development of Quality Culture in the institution
- Facilitating the creation of a learner-centric environment conducive to quality education and faculty maturation to adopt the required knowledge and technology for participatory teaching and learning process
- Arrangement for feedback response from students, parents and other stakeholders on quality-related institutional processes
ACTIVITIES
Faculty Development Program on Executing Value Added Course
Value-added courses serve as catalysts for personal and professional growth, offering students opportunities to explore specialized areas of interest, develop practical skills, and cultivate a broader understanding of interdisciplinary subjects. Through these courses, students are empowered to expand their horizons, pursue their passions, and unlock their full potential as lifelong learners and contributors to society.
Thus, The Faculty Development Program on Executing Value Added Course was organized by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of BLDE (Deemed to be University) on 27th March 2024, Wednesday to the Faculty of Allied Health Science, Faculty of Physiotherapy, and Faculty of School of Applied Science & Technology.

Mera Pehla Vote Desh Ke Liye
To promote Civic responsibility and to foster Social Cohesion among students, a “Sensitization program on Casting the Vote for the First Time” to the students was organized by IQAC on 06th March 2024, Wednesday.
Dr. Siddaling Talikoti, being the resource person sensitized the students on the following contents,

There were Forty-Three participants in the Skill Development Program. Dr. Lata Mullur, IQAC Director, welcomed the participants and highlighted the need for Skill Development Programs. Dr. Siddaling Talikoti, being the resource person for the technical session, emphasized on the following contents,

Professional Development Program (PDP) on Telephone Etiquettes - Feb 2024
To enhance proficiency and to raise the Professionalism Quotient among non-teaching staff members, the Professional Development Program (PDP) on Telephone Etiquettes was organized on 26 th February 2024 Monday at the Academic Council hall of the University administrative building. There were Thirty-one participants in the Professional Development Program.
Dr. Lata Mullur, IQAC Director, welcomed the participants and highlighted the need for Professional Development Programs. Dr. Siddaling Talikoti, being the resource person for the technical session, emphasized on the following contents,
1. Developing a comprehensive understanding of telephone etiquette.
2. Enhance effective communication skills over the phone.
3. Cultivate professionalism and courtesy in phone interactions.
4. Improve listening skills and the ability to convey information.

Road Safety Week - Jan 2024
To enhance the consciousness of Road safety among our students and staff, the IQAC of BLDE (Deemed to be University) executed a one-week Safety Awareness Program (SAP) with the theme “Zero Harm & Be a Hero” on the occasion of National Road Safety Week intending to provide road safety information for our students from 11th Jan to 17th Jan 2024. Flyers were created and displayed on the visual display boards across the campus premises.
