Orientation Program - Pre-Placement Activities 2024
The Placement Cell organized the orientation program on Pre-placement activities for the outgoing students of Allied Health Science courses and Physiotherapy on Saturday, 10th August 2024. The program was intended to prepare students for the upcoming placement season. The program aimed to provide a comprehensive overview of the placement process, equip students with essential skills, and enhance their preparedness for interviews and job placements. The program was conducted in the Anatomy Gallery hall from 11.30 am onwards. In the session, Dr. Siddaling Talikoti, Asst-Placement Officer, emphasized the following,

Workshop - Designing Resume 2024
As a part of the Pre-Placement activity for the outgoing students of Allied Health Science courses & Physiotherapy, the workshop on “Designing Resume” was conducted on 17th Aug 2024. The program was conducted in the Anatomy Gallery hall from 11.30 am onwards and was organized by Dr. Siddaling Talikoti. The workshop was conducted to equip the students with the skills and knowledge necessary to create impactful and professional resumes. The session was well-attended by students seeking to improve their resume design and content.

Workshop - E-mail Etiquettes 2024
As a part of the Pre-Placement activity for the outgoing students of AHS & BPT courses, the workshop on the topic “E-mail Etiquettes” was conducted on Saturday, 24th August 2024, in the Henry Gray Hall Demonstration room-1, Anatomy Department from 11.30 am onwards. The Workshop enhanced participants’ professional communication skills and email management practices. The Workshop on Email Etiquette successfully met its objectives by providing participants valuable insights into effective email
communication. The workshop’s interactive nature, practical tips, and real-world examples helped attendees enhance their email writing skills. Workshop - Telephone Etiquettes 2024
As part of the Pre-Placement activity, the “Telephone Etiquettes” workshop was held on 31st August 2024 for the outgoing UG students of AHS & BPT courses to enhance
students’ skills in managing phone communications effectively and professionally. The workshop aimed to teach students practical techniques for handling telephone
conversations, addressing common challenges, and improving communication skills.The workshop successfully met its objectives by equipping students with essential skills for effective telephone communication. The interactive format and practical exercises were well-received, and students felt better prepared to handle phone calls professionally and efficiently. The workshop concluded with a positive note and the students were not just happy, but also content with the initiative taken by the Placement Cell. The students are convinced in all aspects of the workshop.

Workshop on Facing Interviews
As a part of the Pre-Placement activity for the outgoing students of AHS, the workshop on “Facing Interviews” was conducted on 5th December 2023 (Tuesday). The program was coordinated by Dr. Siddaling Talikoti, Placement Officer BLDE(DU), Vijayapura, and was conducted in the Demonstration Room – 1, Dept. of Microbiology from 3.00 pm onwards.

Short Term Training Program (STTP) on “Personality Development”
As a part of the Pre-Placement activity for the outgoing UG & PG AHS course students, the Short Term Training Program (STTP) on “Personality Development” was organized from 7th Aug 2023 to 12th Aug 2023. Dr. Siddaling Talikoti, The Placement Officer of BLDE(DU), coordinated the entire training program. The training program was inaugurated in the Anatomy Gallery hall on 7th August 2023 from 11.00 a.m. onwards. The Chief Guest for the inaugural ceremony was Dr. S. V. Patil, Dean Faculty of Allied Health Science, and Dr. Smitha Bagali was the Guest of Honor.
