BLDE (Deemed to be University), School of Law Vijayapura organized a Poetry Competition under the banner of the Electoral Literacy Club (ELC) on 15th September 2025, in connection with the observance of International Democracy Day with theme Democracy and Voting Rights.
The event aimed to spread awareness among students about the values of democracy, the importance of active citizenship, and the significance of voting rights. Students from various classes enthusiastically participated and presented their self-composed poems in both English and Kannada. The themes highlighted the role of citizens in strengthening democracy, the power of one vote, and the responsibility of youth in shaping the nation’s future.
