As a part of the Pre-Placement activity, the placement cell of BLDE(DU) organized Workshop on Mind Controlling for students of Physiotherapy Course 2022 batch, 8th Semester on 1st September 2026 at Lecture Hall no1, School of Physiotherapy. The workshop was designed to help students develop greater awareness and control over their thoughts, emotions, attitudes, and responses, thereby preparing them to face professional challenges with confidence and composure. The workshop aimed to
• Develop self-awareness and emotional control among students.
• Help students manage stress, anxiety, and negative thoughts.
• Improve concentration, confidence, and decision-making abilities.
• Develop a positive mindset required for professional success.
• Equip students with techniques to remain calm and focused during interviews and workplace situations.
The resource person Dr. Siddaling Talikoti explained how thoughts and emotions influence behaviour, communication, confidence, and performance. The students were introduced to practical techniques for mind control, positive thinking, stress management, emotional regulation, concentration, and self-motivation.
The workshop served as a valuable pre-placement initiative for physiotherapy students. It contributed to their overall personality development and professional preparedness by focusing on confidence, emotional balance, concentration, and positive thinking. Such activities are expected to enhance students’ readiness to successfully transition from academic life to the professional healthcare environment.
