The BLDE (Deemed to be University), School of Law, Vijayapura, organized the celebration of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Jayanthi on 14th April 2026 at 9.00 AM at BLDE (DU) School of Law building, Vijayapura with great respect and enthusiasm. The event was conducted to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar and to honor his immense contributions to the Constitution and society.
The program commenced with a floral tribute to Dr. B. R. Ambedkar. The homage was offered by the Dean & Principal, Prof. Dr. R. G. Kulkarni, along with teaching and non-teaching staff and students of the School of Law, Vijayapura.
A prayer song was rendered by Mr. Uttam Kamble, a student of LL.B IV Semester, setting a respectful and solemn tone for the event. Following this, Mr. Gururaj Itagi, a student of LL.B IV Semester, delivered an insightful speech highlighting the achievements of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar and emphasizing the importance of law and the Constitution. He further stated that students of law should actively implement and follow the guidance and principles laid down by Dr. B. R. Ambedkar in their academic and professional journey, striving to uphold justice, equality, and constitutional values in society.
