The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), organized a workshop on “Quality Enhancement: Learner Support, Feedback & Student Satisfaction Survey (SSS)” on 09th September 2026. The programme was organized to strengthen institutional practices related to the identification, assessment and support of advanced and slow learners, mentorship, Structured feedback on curricula/syllabi and Student Satisfaction Survey (SSS) in accordance with NAAC quality benchmarks.

The workshop was attended by 44 participants, including Departmental NAAC Coordinators from the Clinical Departments, Mentor–Mentee Committee Members & Curriculum Committee Members of SBMPMCH&RC, NAAC Coordinators from the School of Science and Technology, the School of Allied Health Sciences.

The workshop was also graced by Dr. Tejaswini Vallabha, Dean, Faculty of Medicine & Principal SBMPMCH&RC, & Dr. Vijayakumar Kalyanappagol, Medical Director, Super Specialty Hospital & Senior Vice Principal SBMPMCH&RC, who attended the programme and encouraged the participants in their quality enhancement initiatives.

The programme covered the following key areas:

  1. Introduction to Criterion II: Teaching-Learning & Evaluation – Manjula, Deputy Co-ordinator, IQAC.
  2. Assessment of Learning Levels for Advanced & Slow Learners and Mentor–Mentee Progress Assessment – Dr. Sumangala Patil, Director, IQAC.
  3. Structured feedback on curricula/syllabi & Online Student Satisfaction Survey (SSS) – Dr. Lata Mullur, External Advisory Member for IQAC.

The sessions provided participants with an understanding of systematic learner identification and assessment, effective mentor–mentee monitoring, and the importance of conducting the Online SSS as part of institutional quality enhancement.

The workshop concluded with an emphasis on strengthening learner support mechanisms, documentation practices, mentoring practices, structured feedback on curricula and syllabi from stakeholders, and student satisfaction initiatives within the institution.

The programme enhanced awareness among faculty members regarding NAAC-oriented teaching-learning practices, learner support, mentor–mentee progress assessment, and Student Satisfaction Survey processes
