Placement drive conducted for Fourth Semester Biotechnology and Microbiology Postgraduate Students on 22-09-2026 (Tuesday) in Conference room Ground floor Skil and stimulation laboratory BLDE (DU) Vijayapura. DSVITRO Bioplant, Vijaypaura and Talewada Agro Industry Vijayapura firms were participated.
Inauguration of this drive was conducted in Skil and stimulation laboratory at 10.30 am, Dr Prachi Parvatikar Assistant Professor, School of Applied Science and Technology introduces the about the placement drive to the students and faculties, Dr Surpiya Bhosle Assistant Professor, School of Applied Science and Technology introduced two companies to the students and faculties, Smt. Shermila Sirdeshpande Representative of DSVITRO Bioplant, Vijaypaura briefed about their bioplant, Mr. Bhimsenbabu Talewad Managing Director, Talewada Agro Industry Vijayapura briefed about their Agro Industry. Dr S V Patil Dean School of Applied Science and Technology expressed importance of placement drive to the students in his presidential remarks. Dr G S Kadakol Coordinator, School of Applied Science and Technology thanking two firms, all the students, research scholars, faculties, IT, teaching and non-teaching staff for their support to this successful placement drive.
After the inauguration, Placement drive process has been initiated by conducting first round MCQ test for 50 marks. In this round total 11 students (8 biotechnology and 3 microbiology) were participated based on their test results in second round viva voce taken for all the students by two firms.
