The Opening Ceremony of the newly equipped Biotechnology and Microbiology PG Laboratory under the School of Applied Science and Technology, BLDE (Deemed to be University), Vijayapura, was held on 09.09.2026 (Wednesday) at 10:00 AM at the Old KCP College Building.
The laboratory was inaugurated by Dr. Y. M. Jayaraj, Pro-Chancellor, Dr. Arun C. Inamdar, Vice-Chancellor, Dr. R. V. Kulkarni, Registrar and Dr. S. V. Patil, Dean, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences and School of Applied Science and Technology.
The dignitaries participated in the Pooja ceremony and conveyed their best wishes to the faculty members, research scholars, and students. They encouraged the students to make effective use of the newly equipped laboratory facilities for practical training, academic activities, and innovative research.
The programme was attended by faculty members, research scholars, first, second, and fourth-semester postgraduate students. The event marked an important milestone in strengthening practical education and research activities in Biotechnology and Microbiology under School of Applied Science & Technology.
