As per the direction of Departments of Youth Affairs, Ministry Youth Affairs and Sports Government of India, Confederation of Indian Private Universities (CIPU) Dated 8 August 2026. The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and the Department of Sports, BLDE (Deemed to be
University), Vijayapura, organized the “Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign – 2026” from 09 to 17 August 2026 to promote patriotism, national unity, and respect for the National Flag. As part of the campaign, a series of activities were conducted, including awareness sessions, outreach programmes, tricolour decoration of the hospital, social media awareness activities, Tiranga Yatra, Independence Day celebrations, mass singing of Vande Mataram, and a Bike Rally.
These activities were organized to spread the message of patriotism and encourage active participation in the campaign. Honourable Pro-Chancellor, Dr. Y. M. Jayaraj, flagged off the Bike Rally. More than 400 participants, including students, teaching and non-teaching staff, and other members of the university community, participated enthusiastically in the campaign activities.
Dr. Sumangala Patil, Director, IQAC, along with the IQAC team members and IT team took the initiative and played a key role in the planning, coordination, and successful execution of the overall programme. The campaign also created awareness among the nursing staff, patients, and their relatives at Shri B. M. Patil Medical College Hospital and Research Centre regarding the significance and dignity of the National Flag. Overall, the campaign successfully strengthened the spirit of patriotism, national unity, and civic responsibility among the participants and the wider university community.
