The Placement Cell of BLDE(DU) organized an Orientation Program on Pre-Placement Activities on 17th August 2026 at Lecture Hall no 1, School of Physiotherapy building for the Physiotherapy students of 2022 batch, 8th Semester. The program aimed to familiarize the students with Role of Placement Cell, Process, Calendar of Pre-placement activities and benefits of these activities.

Dr. Nida Sana Mulla, Faculty from School of Physiotherapy proposed welcome speech coupled with the preamble. Mr. Sharanya & Miss. Pooja (students of 2021 batch) gave the Feedback on Pre-placement activities, as they too had participated in the last year. The resource person Dr. Siddaling Talikoti emphasized on the need of essential skills and expectations to prepare them for upcoming campus recruitment initiatives. The event also highlighted the role of the Placement Cell in bridging the gap between students and industry. Dr. Siddaling Talikoti elaborated on the importance of pre-placement preparation in enhancing employability and career readiness. The session was highly interactive, with students actively participating in discussions and clarifying doubts regarding recruitment processes. The Orientation Program concluded by Vote of thanks proposed by Miss. Shivani Kalwa and encouraged her classmates to take advantage of the resources and training provided by the Placement Cell to excel in their careers.
