BLDE (Deemed to be University) observed the 16th National Voters’ Day, 25th January 2026, with great enthusiasm, reaffirming its commitment to nurturing informed, responsible, and active citizens, in line with the national theme “My India, My Vote.”
The programme was organised under the banner of the Electoral Literacy Club (ELC), where faculty members, staff, and students actively participated in activities aimed at strengthening democratic values and electoral awareness. A key highlight of the event was the Voters’ Pledge, in which participants collectively pledged to uphold India’s democratic traditions and to exercise their voting rights fearlessly, ethically, and responsibly, free from any influence.
Through a solemn pledge ceremony, the event emphasised the importance of free, fair, and peaceful elections and inspired young voters to recognise their role in shaping the nation’s future.
BLDE (Deemed to be University) continues to play a proactive role in promoting democratic engagement and electoral literacy among the youth.
