Orientation Program on Pre-Placement Activties - 2025
The Placement Cell of BLDE(DU) organized an Orientation Program on Pre-Placement Activities on 3rd October 2025 at Lecture hall no 1, School of Physiotherapy building for Physiotherapy students of 2021 batch. The program aimed to familiarise the students with the Role of the Placement Cell, the Process, the Calendar of Pre-placement activities and the benefits of these activities.
The resource person, Dr. Siddaling Talikoti, emphasised the need for essential skills and expectations to prepare them for upcoming campus recruitment initiatives.
Workshop on Designing Resume/Resume Writing - 2025
With the objective of training students with the essential skills required to prepare an effective and professional resume, a workshop on “Designing Resume / Resume Writing” was organized for the Physiotherapy students of 2021 batch by BLDE(DU)’s Placement Cell on 6th October 2025. The session aimed to enhance students’ employability by guiding them on how to present their academic achievements, skills, and experiences in a concise and impactful manner. Dr. Siddaling Talikoti, the resource person highlighted the importance of a well-structured resume in today’s competitive job market. During the session, sir also explained the key components of a resume, including the objective statement, educational qualifications, work experience, skills, achievements, and references. Students were guided on how to tailor their resumes according to job descriptions and industry expectations.
Workshop on Email Etiquettes - 2025
To enhance students’ professional communication skills a workshop on “E-mail Etiquettes” was organized on 8th October 2025 from 11.00 am onwards, for the students of Physiotherapy course (2021 batch) by the Placement Cell of BLDE(DU) as part of the Pre-Placement Training Program. The workshop was designed to equip students with the knowledge and practical skills required for effective e-mail communication in professional and corporate environments. The resource person for the workshop was Dr. Siddaling Talikoti and he highlighted on the importance of professional communication in securing and sustaining employment.
Workshop on Telephone Etiquettes - 2025
A workshop on “Telephone Etiquettes” was organized as part of the Pre-Placement Activity for students of Physiotherapy Course (2021 batch) on 9th October 2025 at Lecture hall no1, School of Physiotherapy. The workshop aimed to enhance the professional communication skills of students, focusing on effective and courteous telephone interactions which are essential in workplace environments. The workshop emphasized the importance of developing soft skills and professional behavior for career success. The resource person for the session, Dr. Siddaling Talikoti conducted an engaging and interactive session covering key aspects such as proper greetings, tone modulation, clarity of speech, message taking, handling difficult calls, and maintaining professionalism over the phone
Workshop on Soft Skills - 2025
A workshop on “Soft Skills” was organized as part of the Pre-Placement Activity for students of Physiotherapy Course (2021 batch) on Friday, 10th October 2025 at Lecture hall no1, School of Physiotherapy. Recognizing the importance of soft skills in academic success and employability, the workshop aimed to equip the students with essential skills such as oral communication skills, listening skills, Networking skills, Empathy, Positive attitude and Leadership skills. The workshop emphasized the importance of developing soft skills and professional behavior for career success. The resource person for the session, Dr. Siddaling Talikoti conducted an engaging and interactive session covering key aspects. The workshop was highly beneficial and received positive feedback from the participants.
Workshop on Personal Ethics & Professional Ethics at Workplace - 2025
To equip with the necessary knowledge and awareness of ethical behavior in professional settings a workshop on “Personal Ethics & Professional Ethics at Work Place” was organized as a part of the Pre-Placement activity for students of Physiotherapy Course (2021 batch) on Saturday, 11th October 2025 at Lecture hall no1, School of Physiotherapy.
The workshop provided insights into ethical decision-making, integrity, and maintaining professionalism in the workplace sector.
STTP on Personality Development - 2025
As a part of the Pre-Placement activity , the placement cell of BLDE(DU) organized Short Term Training Program (STTP) on Personality Development for students of Physiotherapy Course (2021 batch) from 13th to 18th October 2025 at Lecture hall no1, School of Physiotherapy. The program aimed to enhance the personal, social, and professional competencies of students by focusing on self-awareness, communication skills, emotional intelligence, and leadership qualities essential for holistic growth and career success. The STTP consisted of lectures, workshops, group discussions, role plays, and self-assessment activities.
Workshop on Mind Controlling - 2025
As a part of the Pre-Placement activity, the placement cell of BLDE(DU) organized a workshop on Mind Controlling for students of Physiotherapy Course (2021 batch) on Monday 27th October 2025 at Devid Bruce Lecture Hall, Department of Microbiology, Shri. B. M. Patil Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre. The workshop aimed to provide participants with insights into techniques and concepts related to controlling and channeling the power of the mind to improve personal and professional outcomes. Dr. Siddaling Talikoti was the resource person for the workshop and he conducted candlelight exercises to enhance concentration and mind controlling.
The workshop on Mind Controlling successfully highlighted the immense potential of the human mind when trained effectively.
Stress Management Workshop - 2025
As a part of the Pre-Placement activity, a workshop on “Stress Management” was conducted for the students of Physiotherapy Course (2021 batch) on 28th October 2025 at Lecture Hall no 1, School of Physiotherapy building. The workshop aimed to help students to understand the causes of stress and learn effective techniques to manage it in their personal and professional lives. The session aimed to enhance emotional well-being, improve productivity, and promote a healthier mindset among participants.
Workshop on Time Management - 2025
As a part of the Pre-Placement activity, a workshop on “Time Management” was conducted for the students of Physiotherapy Course (2021 batch) on 29th October 2025 at Lecture Hall no 1, School of Physiotherapy building. The workshop aimed to help the students to enhance their ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and improve productivity.
Workshop on Facing Interviews - 2025
As a part of the Pre-Placement activity, a workshop on “Facing Interviews” was conducted for the students of Physiotherapy Course (2021 batch) on 30th October 2025 at Lecture Hall no 1, School of Physiotherapy building. The workshop aimed to equip participants with essential skills and confidence to perform effectively during job interviews. It brought together students eager to enhance their communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
