Vision

To be a leading School of Law within a Deemed-to-be University, recognised nationally and internationally for excellence in legal education, research, and professional training, while fostering ethical values, innovation, and social responsibility in shaping competent legal professionals and leaders.

Mission

  1. To provide high-quality, learner-centric and outcome-based legal education through a relevant, skill-oriented curriculum that integrates doctrinal knowledge, professional competence, and emerging areas of law.
  2. To promote interdisciplinary and practice-oriented legal education and research, leveraging the academic strengths of a Deemed-to-be University to address contemporary legal, economic, technological, and societal challenges.
  3. To cultivate a strong research and innovation ecosystem by encouraging faculty and students to engage in quality legal scholarship, empirical research, policy analysis consultancy and law-reform initiatives.
  4. To enhance professional readiness and employability through contemporary legal education, internships, moot courts, advocacy training, alternative dispute resolution, drafting skills, and continuous engagement with the legal profession, judiciary, industry, and regulatory bodies.
  5. To instil a deep commitment to social justice, constitutional values, and ethical legal practice through legal aid clinics, community outreach, extension activities, and public legal awareness programmes.
  6. To integrate India’s legal heritage and constitutional philosophy, including principles of Nyaya, Dharma, Lok Adalats, and Samhithas, with contemporary constitutional governance and international legal frameworks for holistic and inclusive legal education.
  7. To nurture global citizenship, leadership, sustainability, and lifelong learning, aligned with national priorities and international standards in higher education.
