BLDE (Deemed to be University) School of Law, Vijayapura, organized a Financial Training Programme on the topic “Ways of Effective Wealth Creation: Focus on Mutual Funds” by Training Divison Team of Jai Vatnani & Co, on 20 June 2026, at 12.30 PM at the BLDE (DU) School of Law, Vijayapura. The programme was conducted with the objective of creating awareness among students (of BALLB & LL.B II Semester) regarding financial planning, investment opportunities, and strategies for long-term wealth creation.
The resource person for the programme was Mr. Raghuttam Arjunagi, Lecturer, BDE Society’s Composite PU College, Vijayapura. The programme commenced with a warm welcome address by Ms. Suhana, Lecturer, BLDE (Deemed to be University) School of Law, Vijayapura, who introduced the resource person and emphasized the importance of financial literacy in today’s rapidly evolving economic environment.
During the session, Mr. Raghuttam Arjunagi delivered an insightful and practical lecture on the significance of early financial planning and disciplined investing. He explained how students and young professionals can build a secure financial future by developing sound saving and investment habits at an early stage. The speaker elaborated on the concept, structure, and functioning of mutual funds and discussed various mutual fund schemes and categories. He also explained different investment options, including Systematic Investment Plans (SIPs), and highlighted their role in achieving long-term financial goals.
The session further focused on key concepts such as the power of compounding, risk management, portfolio diversification, and the importance of aligning investments with individual financial objectives.
A total of 50 students actively participated in the training programme and benefited from the expert guidance provided during the session.
As a token of appreciation and respect, Mr. Sheshadri K., Assistant Professor, BLDE (DU) School of Law, Vijayapura presented a memento to the resource person. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the guest speaker for sharing his valuable knowledge and insights.
