On the occasion of World Blood Donors Day 2026, with the theme “One Drop of Humanity, Give Blood Save Lives”, a Blood Donation Camp was organized by BLDE (Deemed to be University) School of Law, Vijayapura jointly with BLDE (DU) Youth Red Cross Wing and Shri B. M. Patil Medical College Hospital & Research Centre, Vijayapura on 12.06.2026.
The camp was conducted at the Blood Centre, 3rd Floor, New Trauma Care Centre, Ashram Road, Vijayapura. The programme aimed to create awareness among students regarding the importance of voluntary blood donation and to encourage humanitarian service towards society.
A total of 21 students and 1 faculty member from the School of Law voluntarily donated blood during the camp. The active participation of students reflected their social responsibility and commitment towards saving precious human lives.
